Report Vaccine Reaction

If you or your child has experienced a vaccine reaction please take the time to report the reaction to The Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) and the National Vaccine Information Center (NVIC). Both links are provided below. VAERS is a government program and NVIC is a watchdog group. It is critical that the reaction, no matter how small, be reported so that potential problems can be identified. If your doctor does not file a report, please take the time and do so. NVIC can assist you in filling out the report if you have any questions.

CDC/FDA Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) Web site. This Web site provides a nationwide mechanism by which adverse events following immunization (AEFI) may be reported, analyzed and made available to the public.

NVIC Reporting of Reaction- NVIC has served as a consumer watchdog on the implementation of The National Vaccine Injury Act, which among other things created a centralized surveillance system to which parents, physicians and vaccine manufacturers could report adverse events.
