Subject:  5286 OPPOSE unless Amended 3083

In regard to Bill 5286 to be voted on by the House:

My family requests that you sign on to Amendment 3083, the
religious exemption, as a co-sponsor.

My family requests a voluntary informed consent clause and a
clause that would require that voluntary informed consent be
obtained from parents prior to vaccinating children.

My family requests the definition of Public Health Emergency
be limited to being caused by bio-terrorism and require that
it be medically diagnosed prior to a Public Health Emergency
being declared under Section 7,subsection k.

My family requests the words "imminent threat" be struck
from Section 7, subsection k since we are always under the
imminent threat of a communicable disease.

My family requests that parents be permitted to be
quarantined with children in Section 11 if they sign a
waiver and that quarantining should be the least restrictive
means possible including in one's home, as the Center for
Disease Control has proposed in their Model Health Emergency
Powers Act.
